Getting started
When you first open BabyTrack, add your baby's name and (optionally) date of birth. From there, the four buttons at the bottom of the Home screen log a nappy change, start/stop a sleep or feed timer, or open "More" for growth, medicine, milestones, notes, and backdated entries.
Sharing a baby with a co-parent
Open the menu (top-left, ☰) and choose Share Nova (or your baby's name) → Invite a co-parent. This uses Apple's standard iCloud sharing sheet — send the link however you like (Messages, email, AirDrop). Once they accept on their own iPhone, your tracked entries sync between both of you automatically.
If the invite link doesn't seem to do anything after they tap it, make sure they're running the latest version of BabyTrack from the App Store, then try again.
iCloud sync
BabyTrack stores everything in your personal iCloud account — there's no separate account or login. Make sure you're signed into iCloud (Settings → your name, at the top of the Settings app) and that iCloud Drive is turned on. You can check sync status any time from the app's menu → iCloud sync.
Apple Watch & widgets
The Watch app and complication, and the Home Screen/Lock Screen widgets, show the currently selected baby's status. If a Watch or widget shows "No baby yet", make sure that device is signed into the same iCloud account as your iPhone.
Subscription, trial and cancelling
BabyTrack starts with a free trial, then continues as a monthly subscription. Everyone using the app needs their own — including someone invited to help track a shared baby.
To check what you're on, or when a trial ends, open the app's menu (☰) → Settings → Subscription. To cancel, go to the iOS Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → BabyTrack. Cancelling stops it renewing; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Changed device or reinstalled? Tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen — as long as you're signed into the same Apple account, that brings your subscription back.
Exporting your data
Menu → Export data gives you a JSON file of everything you've tracked, which you can save or share however you like.
Still stuck, or found a bug?
Open BabyTrack → menu (☰) → Contact Support. It opens a pre-addressed email with your device and app version included, so I have what I need to help. Tell me what happened and, if you can, which screen you were on — I read every message.
